Adding extra protein to the chickens diet

Not much fuss to “grow”
Purchase Mealworms from the local pet store
Place in bin with oats, oatmeal etc. (grains)
Add a couple slices of potatoe.
Keep adding oats (or whatever you chose) as the worms eat and slices of potatoe as they dry up
The worms will change into pupa…pupa into darkling beetles…Beetles lay eggs….and the cycle continues
If the bin is kept in a warm place year round the cycle is quicker
With very little work and alot of patients the mealworms will multiply….Expand into more totes….multiply…
