Trisha Yearwood’s Moon Pies My family loves Moon Pies…. and sometimes they are hard to find. This recipe is the answer. Simple ingredients and easy to make. I use the Ghirardelli Dark Melting Wafers instead of white chocolate. 3″ Cookie Cutters make the size that you would buy at the store. We like them bite size so I use a smaller cookie cutter . Wow! Unbelievable! Melt in your mouth Delicious! Ingredients Cookies: 1 1/4 cups graham crumbs (or about 8 ground-up graham crackers) 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 large egg About 1 cup marshmallow creme Further instructions can be found here.

We went with the chocolate bars… The Dark Chocolate Bar tastes like a rich dark hot chocolate. The Orange Chocolate Bar reminds me of a candy at Christmas as a child.
