Family Favorite Recipes

I’m no chef… I’m not even a cook. Cooking isn’t really something that I would choose to do as an interest in life. I don’t enjoy pouring over recipes each week or spending time in a grocery store perusing the isles.

So I put a little time in… every once in a while… checking out recipes online or chefs that have the same taste I know my family likes. Pick a recipe… test it on the family and if they like it…. it goes into “The Notebook”

I have “The Notebook” filled with plastic sleeves. The first sheet of paper in the sleeve lists 6 complete meals…one for each day of the week I will be cooking. Behind that list are the recipes for all the complete meals for that week. The last sheet is a shopping list for everything needed for those 6 meals.

Every weekend I open up the notebook….choose a sleeve… I have all the recipes I need for the week and a complete shopping list. Copy the list….or take a pic on the phone and I’m off. A great time saver!

I can cook a decent meal every evening… without taking a lot of time figuring it out. Love it!

These recipes are laid out the same way. I will list complete meals that my family love. Maybe using them…mixing and matching … they can save you some time.
